Samuel Crompton was the best inventor

Samuel Crompton, despite his humble background, made a significant contribution to spinning with a revolutionary invention which changed the world. [SWIFT]

After his father passed away, Samuel Crompton's family struggled for money. Therefore every night, he had to soulfully play the violin to earn money, whilst working in a weaving factory during the day. However, he was determined to persevere and care for his beloved family and endeavoured to develop his product in the face of these hardships. [KESTREL with some HERON]

He may not have had enough money to get the patent, but companies stole the idea and eventually 4 - 5 million machines were sold. Robert Peel commented, "This invention will revolutionise this industry world wide." Once the rest of parliament heard of this, they gave him £5000 because this invention made cities like Manchester rich, contributing to the success of the nation. [HERON]

Samuel Crompton was very determined and never gave up even though he was quite poor. He invested all his own money into the invention and travelled far and wide to share his idea. Despite many set backs, he continued to set up businesses with the money he earned but unfortunately they did not succeed. [SWIFT]

Even though he came from a humble background, he never gave up. Maybe this is why he got so far in life and explains why he is the best inventor ever. [HERON]
