My 100 word challenge Sophie Rawlinson

My 100 word challenge

I’m still sightless. I don’t know where I am, but all I do know is that today could change my life.

I am walking through a hospital, now going to have surgery. A hand holding mine is comforting, but doesn't stop fear of what might happen. My wife sits me on a bed and lets go of my hand.
“It’s going to be ok.” Her words echoed in my mind as they put me to sleep.

It felt like hours had passed since I was walking through halls of the hospital.
They removed the bandages...suddenly I could see again.
