Christmas Card Competition
On the 2nd of December the head cook arranged a Christmas card competition. Pupils from Brundall Primary School have been invited to send in their Christmas card design. If the dinner ladies pick your card you will win a huge ginger bread masterpiece created by Mrs Winter.

Mrs Winter, the organizer of the competition, stated that she thought this would give the children something to do.
"I hoped this would event would encourage the children to make a Christmas card and it will also promote my school dinners."
She also told us that she put the time and effort into design and make the prize. Altogether it took her 4 hours into to create a edible model of a ginger bread house.

Those who got involved, or are going to get making, have done amazingly well. From what everyone has seen the cards are perfect Christmas scenes for children of all ages.

On the 3rd of December the pupils got to see Mrs Winter's replica of a ginger bread house. I do have to say it was astonishing! All the effort she put into it definitely paid off.

Year 6 pupil, Alisha Youngs, has enjoyed the competition so far.
"I think this is a great opportunity to be creative."
She also thought that it was a great idea and thinks it will go very well.

When the prize is drawn on Friday 13th I hope a lucky girl or boy is happy with their prize. Unfortunately we'll just have to wait and see.
