The green shoots could just be seen among clouds above the
northern lights. The lights shone brightly in the sky on a night in February. They
were ultra bright and everyone was staring beyond the lights to look at the mysterious
shoots that were there on that night.
Everyone was chatting at each other to see if anyone knew
what they were however, no one knew anything about them. This was a big problem
that no one could solve.
The next morning the town all found out that it was a
monster that everyone was scared of. Everyone ran as fast as they could.
Well done Mal, this is a great 100WC. I love your interpretation of this week's prompt. How exciting that the green shoots are in the sky and are a form of alien! Good use of adjectives in this entry to make a clear picture in the reader's head. Keep up the good work!

Mal, I liked the setting of your story, which immediately conjures up mystery and wonder. Try adding a few more details to bring your story to life: could you say more about the feelings of the pole watching? Keep it up!
